Thermoplastic Elastomer
(TPE)

Properties

These materials are blends of polypropylene (PP) and un-crosslinked EPDM rubber, in cases a low degree of cross-linking is present to boost heat resistance and compression set properties. These are used in applications where a requirement for a tougher material is needed over the conventional PP copolymers, for example automotive bumpers and dashboards.
